Lukaku - Love affair over ?

The funny thing is there are some who still refused to acceot he had a horrible attitude,

'To be honest...I don’t really give a f*** about what people say,' he wrote. 'People will talk s*** regardless of what you’re trying to achieve in life.'

Idiot, needs to be dropped from the United side, his shocking touch wont save Jose his job

Whats wrong with that ? sounds accurate, especially in the football world.

He is regularly praised for his attitude by his coaches as well.

Moreno is a 5 foot 7 left back chief, not sure what you were watching in that particular instance. Also not sure who the Leicester centre half “Williams” is. But I do agree that he had some off days in his 4 seasons here.

Exactly.... he got owned by a small player.

Oh, it’s just that you said “centre halfs like:” and included Moreno in your list, I thought you may have been mistaken.

Who’s the Leicester player “Williams”, by the way? Genuinely don’t remember him.

Who do you want upfront for us?

Specifically? I'd go all out for rashford or martial. Either of those 2 know how to control a football, have pace, can finish.

The fact that mourinho hasn't opted for either of them whilst lukaku has been stinking the gaff out indicates a lot of why he is under so much pressure.

Morgan.... not sure where Williams comes from. Must be the similarities with the yard dog we got from Swansea.

Big Rom pedals jarg, though. He goes on about mental strength and fancies himself as a student of the game, when it's clear he's weak in that department. I don't hate him as a player, but it's easy to see where the 'coward' or 'lacks heart' shouts come from. He visibly folds when things go wrong and that can be it for the 90 minutes - particularly now at Utd when he is under the microscope more. As a centre half you wouldn't even need to stick a reducer in to him [in fact that might be counter productive], just wait till he shins the ball at the corner flag and his head drops, that's him in the old sky rocket for the game.

Two that have also looked dreadful upfront for United under Jose

You mean "out on the flanks" whilst lukaku stinks the gaff out in the central role.

Both are far superior footballers to lukaku. In our system either of those 2 would prosper.

The modern game is becoming fast out of place for lukaku. Quite simply he can't play in a footballing system.

Begs the question with our current midfield and wingers, whether we could have been in contention for Champions League football or at least gone to the knockouts in Europa League if Rom had stayed.

Doesn't matter, he ain't coming back and I'm fine with it.
