Don't think anyone is.....think some were saying that he wouldn't look as bad if he was given 30 odd games as a central striker that had a system set up to go almost entirely through him.

Surely even Hibbert would thrive under these circumstances?

I mean you are suggesting building a team around Danny Welbeck, I dont understand how you manage to type with such low IQ.

But they'd be hilariously wrong. He's uber turbo gash.
We are in danger of dealing only in absolutes here. Because he isnt brilliant hes awful, and theres no way that can possibly change. I'm not saying I want him for Everton, but I could see him back at Sunderland for like 8-10 million and easily getting 10-15 goals once they decide the Jozy experiment should end.

says DAVID MOYES NUMBER 1 FAN

Is that the same David Moyes who took a team from 17th to 4th with a minus net spend?

Dont see any other Manager in the league doing that myself.

Maybe I stuck with Moyes too long, but I saw his faults and im glad hes gone, lets see how the Spanish tit we have now does.

I don't accept Rom as a big signing to be honest. These days you've got to be looking at 50mil+ for it to count as a big move.

I have no opinion on that pal, because I don't give two hoots about Sunderland.

This thread is about Lukaku, his likely price and possible viable alternatives. Welbeck has only come into the discussion because a small minority of frankly unhinged posters somehow believe he falls into the category of "viable alternative to Lukaku". You're taking it off-topic by theorising about where Welbeck might end up, and it's getting dull. Start a new thread if you want, but let's move on from Danny flamin' Welbeck in this thread please.

I'd start a new thread if I thought it was worth one but it isn't. The discussion is also not exactly detracting from the shed load of Lukaku news we are having to work around, so why not in here? If its getting dull, don't read it. Easy isnt it really?

Because the thread title is "Lukaku price", not "at which club do you think Welbeck might thrive".

"Chelsea believe they will finally land £32m Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid this week when dethroned world champions Spain fly home.

Romalu Lukaku has been offered in return on loan as keeper Thiabut Courtois goes back to his parent club, but it is understood Lukaku wants a permanent move."

"Tottenham have turned their attentions to signing Ivory Coast striker Wilfried Bony from Swansea.

Spurs wanted to sign Romalu Lukaku but Chelsea have vetoed their London rivals signing the Belgian hitman either permanently or on loan."
