Apparently we wanted Moses but Rodgers grabbed him before we made a move, which actually worked out rather well for us because if we'd got Moses we wouldn't have been able to loan Rom when he became available on the last day of the window.

I think this a good example of why we'll be dealing right until the end of the window. Things can change and better options could be available

It's only 'done' when it's on the official site, so for the time being it's still 'close'. There's been some good posters on here that have said it's going to happen though so every reason to remain positive.

I don't want to talk like the 2 above are signed & sealed, but if they do happen then I don't necessarily think that'll be the end of our spending.

It's a balancing act for us at the end of the day isn't it?

There's other costs that need to be covered than just transfer fee's. Wages, bonuses, non-playing staff etc

Nearly 30 Million is a fair chunk of change for us these days

If true they might be the end of the permanent deals, but I'd still expect 3 or even 4 loans near the end of the window, how boss would it be to enjoy watching the loan deals roll in knowing the permanent stuff is signed and sealed though. I know I am probably asking too much

It would be nice if we had all the perms signed before the Leicester game yeah.

Means we'd at least have a decent XI to put out, barring injuries of course
