Odds shortening again, not that it means much now but if you're the confident type you can still get 1/4.

If he gets injured after 10 minutes the full fee will still be payable. Merely cash flow and possibly FFP regs being thought of.
Cash flow yes but nothing else

Don't dismiss payment terms as they can often, in the bigger transfers, be the deal breaker. If Chelsea say yes we agree a fee of £x and we want it paid immediately or say 75% up front and say the balance in 6 months then that becomes a big issue. If you haven't got that sort of wriggle room in your cash flow or don't have the capacity to borrow

What's caused all the Lukaku talk? Not long got back from work so I've missed most of today's events.

SSN saying we're in discussions over how to pay the £24m (trying to spread it over 3 years), plus Betfair have suspended betting due to reports we're in advanced tgalks.

According to Oscar Damiani Junior, who managers the Italian market as the assistant to Romelu Lukaku’s agent Christophe Henrotay, the Belgian striker will be plying his trade in the Premier League next season.

Not though at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking in Calcio Mercato,Damiani also believes Lukaku has no plans to leave England for a new adventure in Italy’s Serie A.

“For the Italian teams there is very little chance,” said Damiani.

“Chelsea will sell him [Lukaku] outright. Juventus have been informed, but again, there is no chance for any Italian club.

“It will come as a blow [for Italian interest] because Lukaku is a great player.”

“Will Lukaku stay in the Premier League? Yes, I believe so,” concluded Damiani.
