It was crucial Lukaku signed. He's a real top class forward who I fully expected to go to a top Champions League playing team this summer. I'd have thought a club like Juventus would have been in there like a rat up a drainpipe. But we have him, and now we must use him to best effect. This lad is crying out for a playmaker in and around him. His play off the shoulder of defenders is first class and with reasonable service he'll get 20+ in the league.

It's great news, and as long as we add another forward and winger and keep all our players we'll be in very good shape.

Why not? Last season wasn't his best, I give you that. But he is a good creative winger that we will have benefit from many years to come.

I know he's a good winger but Everton fans really do overrate him quite a bit mate. You ask somebody now how much do you think we will get for him and people say like 15m. Half it.
