Put this into perspective, we've spent close to £30m on two bright young talents, signed up one of the best midfielders in the league last season on a free and look like spending another 2-3 mill on two more young talents while clearing out two waste of space players whereas that lot over the park have gave £50m to Southampton for an aging striker, and ok defender and a midfielder who can't play for a few weeks cos of an injury, £30m on two virtual unknowns and £10m on a striker who they have sent back to his old club on loan while selling their biggest key player for £75m

If I was a betting man I'd say right now we have got the better deal from this window

Romelu Lukaku: Everton set to sign Chelsea striker
Everton are close to signing Belgian World Cup striker Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea on a reported five-year deal.

Lukaku, 21, scored 16 goals on loan at Everton last season as the club finished fifth and qualified for Europe for the first time in five years.

The frontman, who joined Chelsea from Anderlecht for £18m in August 2011, tweeted: "Time to write a new chapter."

Lukaku spent the 2012-13 season on loan at West Brom and has played just 15 times in all competitions for Chelsea.

More to follow.

You'd better believe more will follow!
