Just trying to work out if this is the biggest signing / statement of intent since either Kanchelskis or Lineker?

Ace time to be an Evertonian though. The core of Stones, McCarthy, Barkley and Lukaku is potentially world class. You add Jags, Coleman, Baines and Barry to that with a few new additions and for me, I haven't been this optimistic for a coming season since the summer of 1995.

After we qualified for the champions league and failed miserably to build on that by attracting players it's fantastic (and a relief) that we've not made the same mistake.

Well done Roberto (I love you) and fair play to the board.
