Just read Rom's interview in the Mail and he does talk some sense in parts to be fair.
However, no player is bigger than our club and he should have kept a lot of his thoughts to himself.
Contrary to popular belief, football is not 'all about winning trophies.' If that was true then 90% of players and fans just wouldn't bother. It's now 22 years since we won a trophy (sorry to remind you!) and Goodison is packed out every week; enough said.

Of course it's about winning trophies, be it league or cup, you numpty! Just not everyone can win one due to the finite number of them. No one is bigger than the club, no- doesn't make them irrelevant or wrong.

Although i do not believe he is world class just yet, he isn't too far from it now. I am not sure personally how you can think negatively of him when potentially he could be deemed the best striker this season based on goals scored. He said he believes he is one of the best in the league and i would say that is 100% true, especially as a top goalscorer at his age who can only get better. Do you not think he is a top striker Prevenger?

I don't. A good goalscorer? Yes. A good player, I'm afraid not. He'll be found out, unless he moves to Bayern where you just get handed the title on the first day of the season
