There's a good article from back in April on The Athletic talking with him about how it went wrong. Interesting quote in the comments there for those who think we missed out:
"As an Ipswich fan I've seen him produce flashes of brilliance - his free kick taking has been a strength. Not been convinced by him defensively at times, and he hasn't been head and shoulders above many of our mediocre team. Downes and Woolfenden, two academy products have been more consistent."
