Think he's trying not to use Onana as he won't be here next season, but he'd be better using him tonight with Garner playing like he is.

Aside from the typical first 5 mins that most home teams have, and that we weathered, we've been streets ahead the better team. That's a class goal from their striker, proper finish.

Pleasing to see the boys out and effort in when it officially doesn't matter, doesn't look like a team that isn't playing for the badge or the manager.

Would bring Onana or Gomes on for Doucoure or Garner on 60, that extra bit of class with the ball will make the difference here

Forget about the class players like Baines and Coleman, I’d rather have Oviedo, Hibbert, Nuno Valente or even Cuco than Young!

Garner fills in wide for McNeil though which allows him to go central. McNeil is way less effective without Garner on

I think Garner is a good bet for a red card here though. I can sense Barkley drawing him in for a reckless challenge.
