Van Der Sar was stuck at Fulham for 4 years after being released by Juve before being bought by Ferguson at the age of 34 for Man U and then having 6 great years there as a pivitol member of the team. I know it's not exactly the same but this fella has a similar pedigree to me and shows someone like this from Fulham shouldn't be written off, he was a world cup finalist in 2010 and was with Ajax for years as the first choice then Roma before Fulham .I know it's only early days for him here but I've got a good feeling about this one, of course as always time will tell.

After yesterday's performance, I am less concerned about needing a new keeper, as you say he was a Dutch international, he wasn't going to poor.

But I wouldn't say no to a current international keeper.
 

Was shockingly good yesterday, seems to be a great shot stopper. I still think we need another keeper, but his performance made me realize a right back and striker is a lot more important, right now.

Neither would I mate.

He has made this gaff though haha after Ajax won the title.

 
Good start yesterday, but we're still yet to see whether or not his handling - which was the issue at Roma - is up to scratch.
 

for years we complained at having a keeper that doesn't cost us points. Well yesterday we had a keeper that earned us points. when was the last time anyone could say that! Seeing confidence breeds winners then lets get behind this lad and make him feel like a winner.
