Could you explain while trying to defend myself from verbal abuse from no provacation on my part i was suspended for a week?

Then to make matters worse, the ban message from mick was "I warned you". He warned me to stop taking abuse, surely he should have done something about this abuse.

Having read the Halewood Banned thread, the comment from Mick himself seems to indicate there was a pre meditated agenda behind my suspension.

As you know, you told me the previous week to stop bothering you with it (ref our pm's). There was also a mod on hand at the time who i thought might have dealt with it in a proper manner

HB, there was a rule added a few months ago that basically covered all members that consume an undue amount of time and attention from the mod team. Yes, here we go, copied from the rules:

High Maintenance Members:
Please note, any member who extracts an "extra ordinary amount of time" from the moderators or administration may lose some of their forum privileges. An "extra ordinary amount of time" is defined as anyone who requires excessive mod or administrative intervention.

Excessively causing, creating, or adding to difficulties for other members or moderators, or, excessively complaining of being a "victim" of another member puts you in the category of high maintenance.

Failure to comply with the above will likely result in either an infraction, suspension or termination of your account.

That's why you were banned and unless you become less high maintenance I dare say it'll happen again. The mods give up their time to keep this place going, I'm sure they don't want to deal with crap from people old enough to know better

As I'm sure you're aware I was no fan of many of Si's antics on here and in that particular instance I suspect that it was slightly unfair, but you cannot overlook the fact that you are high maintenance. All of these suspensions and bans have to point somewhere don't they?

You're even doing it now. You've been let back on, against the better judgement of some I suspect, and instead of keeping your head down you're creating problems for the mod team again, just hours after being let back on. If you have a gripe with the decision to suspend you then I'm sure a private discussion would have yielded better results. A public display such as this seems to resonate particularly loudly with this

I'm not really sure where people - not just in this thread - get off on the idea that this forum is a democracy or a place where anyone (including me) has any "rights" or the owners or managers have any obligations to behave in any way whatsoever.

Don't like it, start your own forum. Make your own rules. (But then one would have the problem of building up the membership and interest oneself. Bit of work instead of a lot of mouth.)

I agree with HB, often people jump down his throat for very little. That Si lad has been on here a few times purposely trying to wind him up.

This bit is to H: mate if you want NOT to get banned, you've just got to take things on the chin. I've had a couple of rows on here myself, but after a few choice replies to my "tormentors" I generally leave it at that. I think about a reply, give the best put down possible, and let them have the last word. The only other option is to have a long drawn out argument, which is bound to annoy the mods. Effectively, because you do like to stick up for yourself, you make yourself noticed.

You're your own man, though. So you'll do what you do on your own terms. And that's fine by me.

Everyone on here has a different personality. H has got a lot of issues with being able to post subtly on things. Maybe he needs to work on that a little bit because that's why he's always falling out with certain people. But come on, he's a decent bloke, isn't at all sly or two-faced, doesn't kiss ass, he calls it how he sees it, and never does the cliquey thing. He's got a lot of good characteristics, which I personally respect.
