Everton were said to have been in "advanced talks" with the French club and that a meeting was set to take place on Thursday.
But it is believed there has been no contact over Malcom.

New Everton manager Marco Silva and director of football Marcel Brands have agreed on their transfer targets but have yet to secure any new signings.
As the Blues prepare to face Bury in tonight's second pre-season game of the summer, no deals are imminent.
