I replied to my original post with a caveatIt was not garbage. We were great. We just messed up that last change. I loved it
Common sense, rare on here. Well doneNow is not the time to sack Dyche. Stay up this season and start a fresh next season with a new manager then.
For all his faults he will continue to pick up critical points we are not expected to get and we will survive with this sorry squad.
He is making us tickover, in much the same way as Gareth Barry did, he just stitches it all together. He can and does win tackles btw, although it is not a massive part of his game, he does, however, make us a much better midfield unit in his understated fashion. Have another look, you may be surprised if you look at his game with an open mind. If not, there is no point in debating it further, you have your opinion and I have mine. Now I'm not saying he is a great player, just that he is a neat tidy player who makes us a better team.Forgive me if i want a central midfielder to be able to win tackles and be defensively robust.
Aside from Andre Gomes i cant think of a central midfielder that cant win a tackle.
How does this make him a good player?
Yes, amazing what a bit of positivity can do. Thankfully the players and the manager did not go into those games with the mental negativity that many "fans" here haveWell, that was another well-earned point. Maybe we should have got more from the game, but I think we can agree that we've done far better than expected over this Christmas period.
Correct. Another common sense post. More pleaseThe annoying thing is we could have won that.
But 3 points from games against Arsenal, Chelsea and City is massive for us considering our circumstances.

same ofc we would all like a more complete player but when you see doucoure gana(who i rate alot) cant even complete simple passes. Is looking at the situation atm and he is able to pass the ball so we can keep it get things started. The position the club has been in have been hard to get quality players coming in, think he is a good player not perfect but you pretty much kno what get from mangalaHe is making us tickover, in much the same way as Gareth Barry did, he just stitches it all together. The word he used was DREADFULHe was playing upfront, away at Man City, on his bill. Nobody said he was absolutely superb did they? They’re just disagreeing with your assessment that he was, for some reason, poor?
Another good positive post... taHard choice for MOTM. Possibly Pickford for the pen save, Tarks for blocking and heading everything, Mangala for composure, Gana for tenacity, Illiman for a cracking goal and skilful play...............I am passing on the vote as I cannot decide.
We don't have the players to play pleasurable football. We've got a bunch of muck savages who play muck savage football and we have a muck savage manager who has muck savage tactics.I want Dyche out. I want to see Everton play football which is a pleasure to watch. But that is not where we are for well known historical reasons. In the circumstances it is wholly inappropriate to not give credit for consecutive draws against far superior teams.
NOYou didn't see the game but we should listen to your opinion?
We tried to play football?
The whole point of Everton Football Club is to play football, the clue is in the name!
