Excellent half. What is encouraging is we can see what can be improved regarding the personnel. We are so close to something yet still seem far away.

We look very good in all areas for those not watching. Defence is well organised, everybody doing what needs to be done except Stones who's just John Stones isn't he. Barry lucky not be on a booking but so was fernando for City. Besic looks the best player on the pitch, tracking back, blocking and breaking play up. Imagine the days when Ross and Gerry are on song, Besic doesn't look out of place going forward in that company. Osman is having a stinker and Rom has caused them problems.

Edit, mention to Howard to who's looked solid. I don't think I really emphasised how bad Osman is playing for the record. He looks well below the standard the rest of the team are playing at
