I'm not sure who I'm supposed to be afraid of this season. We're not doing well but nobody seems that much better than us.

I really don't see why we can't win this game and at least tie the next Cup tie against this lot.

I imagine the halfway decent City fans hide somewhere secret so we never hear from them.

Weirdly looking forward to this one which I assume means we're doomed.

Just cant give Besic any praise at all can you.

Utter melonhead biff.

NEA what happens here, I currently have 2 lines of thinking.

1. We beat them, they will try harder the 2nd leg
2. We get beat, they think they are already through and we smash them in 2 weeks.

Tough 1.

I think it'll work the opposite way, reckon if we work hard tomorrow like we did in the first leg and come away with a result they'll be thinking "we can't beat these" and that'll give us the psychological edge going into the second leg.

We get smashed tomorrow and we'll be crapping ourselves for the 2nd leg.

City will be without Bony, Fernandinho, Kompany, Mangala and Nasri. Silva and Yaya Toure are fit to play , so City can still put out a respectable eleven. They can pick from De Bruyne, Sterling, Silva and Aguero in attack, but centre backs should be Di Michelis and Otamendi - we can score goals here.

Besic will presumably stand in for McCarthy/Cleverley, but who will replace Coleman? Stones, Mori, Galloway or Jagielka could play in the centre, with Stones or perhaps Oviedo at right back.

I hope it's better weather than Saturday.

Kin ell.

Took me until reading this that this game isn't the second leg.

Oh Manchester...so much to answer for.

That might be your best preview ever @chicoazul. Witty, urbane, with just the right amount of bodily oils sprinkled about.

Can never bring myself to hate City as they count some of the soundest celebrity fans among their tribe. Headed by:

Anyone who grew up in Manchester and supported City instead of Manchester United Limited, has something about them.

Prediction: I have no idea what's going to happen tomorrow. Anything is very possible with this Everton team. We could win 5-0 or lose 5-nil. or anything in between.

We could win if we play like we all know we can play, unfortunately if they play like we all know they can play, we probably won't.
