Hardest away game we'll have this season, as well the game at Big Stand fc. Just look at the gulf in class of players. I doubt City will drop many more points at home.

And Lukaku is quietly making massive strides towards that world class bracket Imo. And his ability to suddenly chang the game proved dividends today. He gets that consistency in his game and he'll be a world beater.

That was probably the only clearcut chance they had from open play all game. Which is quite incredible considering the time they spent in our half.

Can see what you are saying but I find the comparing useful - seeing how far we have come (certainly in defensive organisation and mental strength and team spirit) from last season.

Trouble is most teams have improved their playing staff substantially and even though we have better players than last year (Gana and Williams being quality additions and we don't miss Stones) the failure of two of our Previous Fab Four (Geri and Ross) to move on means we have effectively stood still on players while City, Utd and others have spent the bank and moved on

the summer was really poor from us, i'm expecting a few singings in january tbh. we shouldn't even dream of competing with those teams given finances, but we will.
