Be insulted if they didn't tbh. Think it will be not too dissimilar to the city game, in that we will try to play on the front foot and get cut up at the back, albeit by a slightly less efficient attack than City's.I'd look to performance tonight rather than result. A decent result of any description would be a welcome surprise. It might sound lika a cop out, but this is a game United dare not lose. And, unfortunately, I dont believe they will. They'll throw everything at this.
I'm not nervous and I don't care about the result tonight. I just want Everton to be able to compete with anyone, like we did against Chelsea, Spurs and City.
The old small team mentality is dead and finally we are not afraid of anyone.
Given our performaces against the top teams this year, I have a much better feeling than last year.
Anyone, could not agree more and Chicozaul, this is of the first time I've read your pre match post front to back. sitting here on business in Mauritius 4 hours ahead of uk time I worry I won't make kickoff but by God damn it despite being nervous I think we are going turn them over and I hope it's by a big number. Moyes you don't go back to a club having understood their financial fragility and prey on that... there is plenty other talent out there to go after ... So to that end Fook U! I am hoping for a cataclysmic defeat for Manure.COYB!
Mosit is gonna have them going all out attacking to try and prove us wrong about him.
Lets hope we sit nice and deep, absorb the pressure and nick a winner, that'll learn him.
I think tonight might be a tough one to endure, tbh. I can see us not really getting going and losing by a couple, McCarthy or Barkley (or both) picking up yellows and missing the Arsenal game, and Liverpool getting a win against Norwich.
That would be worse case scenario but not that outlandish.
Alas my friend the time machine is broken..... However to keep yourself busy until reality takes over have a look at this initiative ...http://www.facebook.com/l.php?u=htt...dumMJUp1e6bYo_ixDAnbEH6XXjzAj7S8JzJrxOAIg&s=1What was the result mate? Did we play well?
