Yeah a proven professional but he has a kid i never heard of till 2 weeks ago and simms who played a few championship games. An embarrassment of riches and he won't even use them.

Saaaaaack
Keep saying it - don’t play an out and out striker then

They did at Villa.

First goal opened the floodgates :(

Villa was also the first game we’d lost pretty much most of our injured players to though. QPR aside since then those that have come in have grown into the team.
It’s annoying the chances we’ve created but we did enough in that first half to have belief we can get something out of this game. United were pretty much toothless that first half, a centre back playing right back and not aware of the player he should have been marking and an unfortunate deflection is the only reason they’re ahead here

We've done ok considering the team we've put out.

I'd rather have Dobbin than Rondon though. I'm not writing him off completely, just looks way off the pace.

Is Sims not on the bench?

Question I have now is if hes so unfit why?

He's been here training for a few weeks and played 4 games for us now into half of his 5th.
What's he doing in training ?

Btw I think he's fit, this is just the player he his now, can see flashes of what he used to be good at, protecting the ball, winning the odd.header etc.

I think he is getting better gradually. I was listening to an ex pro talking about the adjustment period to the PL when you have been away.

It has to be remembered that not only has he done no proper training for 4 months, before that he was playing in a league that is in no way comparable to the PL. i am sure he developed bad habits in that league that he managed to get away with over there and he is having to adjust now that he has to be better all around.

I don’t think he is going to be a world beater but he does look like he has the potential to be what we expected which is an option off the bench after 70-80 mins when DCL and/or Richy are fit
