Yeah I'm almost certain he'll be here next season.

I personally think he's been absolutely brilliant for us in both his spells at the club. Think at times this season he's struggled to adjust to the pressures of the premier league and that's caused him to act out in bizarre ways. He does like to create a siege mentality and he's immensely popular amongst the players.

With a full season of top flight experience under his belt it will be interesting to see how far he can go.
Fair enough. Fair do's. Would this of been the same reply if I had asked the same question in February though? I still think you're pretty high after a miraculous turnaround, which is normal.

How is he in the transfer market? Has he spent money before? I mean the kind of money that will ensure that you're not down there next season. He brought in Cambiasso which proved an good signing for you, but he needs to spend money let's face it.

I've always supported him but yeah you'll find a fair few of our fans that wanted him gone this season. Always liked his style and honesty.

He's quite savvy in the transfer market. When in the championship we bought young and hungry players on the cheap. We also bought people like Mahrez (400k) and Vardy (1mil).

Obviously he hasn't signed any high profile players (Cambiasso aside) and it remains to be seen if he can sign the calibre of player we need to establish ourselves as a mainstay in the premier league

Pardew a good shout. Probably kept two teams up this season.
Agreed. Bleacher Report had him as Manager of the season.
Newcastle got 32 of their 39 points under him including wins over us, Spurs (away), Chelsea, Liverpool.
Palace got 29 of their 48 points under him.
Jointly that would be 61 points (that would be 7th ahead of Soton and just behind RS).

Koeman has done well but I never thought for a second they would go down, I expected them to finish around 10th. Even after sales they were left with some great talent in Clyne, Schneiderlin, Fonte, JWP etc. That's before they were able to reinvest the ridiculous fees they got (still can't get over £30m Shaw ffs).

Has to be given to Mourinho, Chelsea have been flawless all season and his summer purchases were clearly exactly what they needed to complete their side.

monk - easy. how can it be mourinho? he has the best squad and all of the other rivals were absolutely hopeless for the majority of the season.

1st season as a boss, sold vorm, davies, chico, pablo hernandez from the first team and then lost bony in jan and they still continued to keep going.

i picked them to just survive this season after their summer. been a better pick than soton for my money - but can hardly argue with koeman as a choice given that they were both in a similar situation in the summer. however, saints did get laughably bankrolled by the bigger clubs £27m for shaw, £25m lovren, £20m Lallana, £18m chambers and £4m for lambert.

only liverpool could piss away a pot like that poorly. they did have a great squad tbf - although that should contribute as a plus point to koeman rather than negative.
