If you’ve lost all faith in him to turn it round then fair enough, not much choice but to want someone else.

The jury is out for me, and the fact we’re not in a critical position and have no standout candidate to step in means I just feel we should stick it out for a while.

How do you know there is no stand out candidate. Just because none of us have an obvious name in our heads doesn't mean the people at the club who are paid to know football don't.

Keeping a manager for the sake of it is not a good enough reason. Keeping a manager because there are no obvious names being put forward on a forum is also not good enough of a reason!

The set pieces are becoming a bit of a joke but too many other goals we concede are coming from individual mistakes (and too often turning over possession far, far too sloppily).

Like Martinez, Silva must take full responsibility. High line, full back bombing up leaving space behind, useless sideway passing slow buildup, can’t organise a defence etc. He is done, time to go.

He's way out of his depth. It's not his fault of course but that's the way it is and the sooner it gets sorted the better.

It is his fault though. Entirely his fault

We keep getting beat because he will not down to stubbornness change his zonal marking [Poor language removed]. Every single week we're conceding the same goals it's just crazy how he hasn't adressed it after 6 months

I meant it wasn't his fault that he was appointed in the first place.

Every single free kick around 40 yards or less from the box feels like we’ve just given a penalty away. It’s horrible.

You're not having Hodgson. Just saying. Didn't vote as none of my business but to be honest the bloke is trying to sort out the three previous blokes messes. Give him a break.
Dying to use my "Long Gone Silva" gag but that will have to wait I suppose.
...D'OH!

I doubt there is a candidate waiting for our call now. Get to the end of the season, see what can be done outgoing player wise and see who then wants the job. It can't be a risky appointment, it needs to be someone established with a proven record. If not, may as well keep with Silva.

Well we never conceded 5 times from set play crosses in a week under any of them. We never conceded 15 headers from set plays before by February the 2nd. He's running them all close.

The concern, like with Martinez, is the longer he's had to put his mark on the side, through more abysmal we have got. We don't even compete anymore. A thoroughly unlikeable group of players. Not fit to play for everton.
