Think maybe Marco overthought this one.

But in his defense, without Gana, and with Coleman playing the way he is, we have no answers, HOWEVER, still not an excuse for giving up two headed balls that could've been stopped. Great crosses, but still.

I didn't have a problem with how we played for 75 minutes or so just didn't defend well enough. However the last 15 minutes they had no desire to try to score again they were just trying to waste time and we didn't step out and try to go for it.

End of the day guys, we were beaten by a much better side away from home. It's frustrating as it's pretty much followed the same script as the other big away games but no need to lose our heads over it. Another big game against Spurs next but we've still yet to play one of the better sides at home so I wouldn't write us off just yet for that game.

That said, would be happy to see Lookman and DCL come in. Coleman is proving to be a weak link again so I wonder what Silva makes of JJK,

Three defensive errors and a whole load of missed chances. Hopefully this is just a case of us in a transition period, but could have been a lot different today.

Zouma, Keane and Gomes have been good.
I think Silva has found himself a new right back. Mr Kurt Zouma. Anoth
er dimension to Mr "courant d'aire" Coleman. Strong defender quick and good on the ball.

I watched it all, do not think we played badly but rather they were too good for us, in a different class. 2 goals gifted, I don't know!

have to say not happy with the team selection more or less inviting to City to come at us.

Tbf, that was our worst performance of the season and the only real difference was clinical finishing. We could have been coming away winning that 4-3, because they weren't half chances we missed, they were bloody sitters. Story of our season and another display to show how we'd be a totally different prospect with a top striker.
