City finished their chances, city forced us into mistakes, when mistakes happened they punished ours we didn't punish theirs

Ultimately game was a hell of a lot closer on the actual good chances both sides had than either the scoreline or the actual feeling watching the game suggested.

Can't legislate for Mina having a mare along with Coleman, or for any of our players being unable to hit a barn door.

I think we need a quality CB to go alongside Keane, a RB, holding midfield player to accompany Gomes Gueye is poor technically, a no 10, and a quality striker.

Think we have enough with Richarlison, Bernard, Lookman and Walcott wide

Played city reserves and got dominated. Lucky they didn't have sterling from the start and Aguero and silva. 5 at the back was a terrible idea. Sideways goalkicks have looked shaky since we started them. only reason for them would be no one to win headers but DCL was up front today. Had a few chances but could also have conceded more.
Need to stop the rot before we finish this month with 4 points.

Obviously gutted with the result, but extremely positive about the direction we’re going in.

Hard to imagine it’s only 12 months since Koeman was here. I never felt less interested in football & was giving my tickets to anyone who would take them.

OK, we could have gone there today & parked the bus. Absolutely no guarantee we’d have got a point doing that. Silva stuck to his principles & had Richarlison took his chance, who knows.

It’s clear we could be a very decent side with 2-3 additions. Can’t wait for the window to open.

2 great saves from Pickford kept the score down as well.
1 great save and the other was straight at him and he still managed to push it back out in front of him into the danger zone. If a city player had been switched on he'd have grabbed himself a nice little bonus. I would like to see the crosses for their goals as well just to see if he maybe could have come for them. Not sure like but I'd like to have good look at them, he seemed to be rooted to his line again.
