We needed some pace at the back and we probably needed DCL in as well to stretch them.

I'm slightly surprised Bernard has been given the nod ahead of Walcott or Davies, but other than that, it's probably as expected.

I would be happy with 3 at the back but I would have dropped Coleman and played Walcott instead as a right wing back.

..I predicted early this morning that DCL would start. I’d be using him more often, particularly away from home where Richarlison is left to toil against burly CBs.

I think the game is dependent on how long we have something to hold onto.
