This Man City side are something this league hasn't ever seen. They create space easily and close down space expertly. Make other teams look like statues.
Need Richarlison and DCL to get the ball and hold it up better. They need to create there own space and they are not able to do it. We try to continue to play the right way from the back but we cannot do it as our players cannot create space for themselves to receive and once it's ingrained in a player it is difficult to go long. Yes we have created our own problems but the technique between us and them is chalk and cheese. If only we had a killer striker to pick up on the crumbs.

Our inability to show composure on the ball has been our biggest problem in these sort of games for decades. We can't beat being pressed. Always give it away under pressure. Seen this boring and ultimately unsatisfying movie for far too long.

I agree with all above. We're miles away from these and because we only know how to play one way we can't adapt like other long ball type teams. Last section of that first half was painful to watch. We were literally pressured into losing the ball at the back. I hope Marco can get a powerful striker, create faster movements in transitions and the final 3rd and get a better finishing ratio out of our offensive players. I guess that's the challenge. It'll take a few seasons and constant investment if we want to finish top six!

Wrong line-up. You have to pressure City in midfield and up-front and stop them controlling the play.

We should have had three midfielders to compete..why three big centre-backs marking one little Jesus who still managed
to score !

In addition Bernard is a disappointment as a winger..Richarlison not doing well.. Calvert-Lewin game but no impact .
