He tries it but if it doesn't come off for him once he plays safe. The moment he had a 2 passes intercepted he lost his nerve. Something that can be trained out of him as he's a solid player.
Getting beat by Norwich at home is a wake up call - losing by a goal to City away in the middle of a packed schedule and long injury list is significantly less so tbh
Point out his flaws all you want, but these are not flaws of Tom's. Often goes for the hard pass, it just doesn't come off that often

I disagree. Don't get me wrong, we've been poor today and in reality it could have been a lot worse, but we've also been able stifle City for periods of the game.
In reality, we came to City as the underdogs and can't expect to get results there unless we play well. I'd be more worried if we'd played well and were beaten.
We have a depleted midfield and perhaps tiredness has finally set in.

Have to laugh at all the guys saying DCL was maybe a red card challenge, I guarantee that they are all under the age of 25 and that they never played Crocky Legion or the Fantail in their pomp
