Yeah, we saw where his 'efforts' got us yesterday. Another defeat.

All the decent FBs in the SPL in the last few seasons and we got your dud.
I know you get off on the slightest hint of a mistake from NP and you're obviously blinded by hateful tunnel vision regarding anything positive NP does in an Everton shirt.
But your constant diatribe against an outstanding young talent that can only benefit Everton in the long run, is truly pathetic!!

Pickford
Godfrey - Tarkowski - Coady - Mykolenko
Patterson - Gueye - Onana - Iwobi - Gray
Cannon

Need to start with a low block so Godfrey back in and potentially move to a 5 if needed.

I think we need to drop Maupay and Gordon and given that this game is a "free-hit" I'd like to see Patterson given more attacking freedom (if you can against City) plus I think he would benefit from someone helping him down the right. Also have Gray's pace on the left side to match for a counter

Cannon will be chasing shadows so let's use his pace and press as best as we can until the 60th min mark when Gordon/Maupay on or half tempted to move Onana up top as a "target man" and Doucoure to help out in midfield.

Tough game but I fear a heavy result and it will be dire for Lampard with a cup game and 2 must wins next. It could be time up.

We can't score so may as well go all out defence.

Eleven behind the ball, full 90, take a point and protect the GD which may be important at the end of the season.

A pretty shameful lack of ambition admittedly, but we couldn't get a point at home against Wolves so you cut your cloth accordingly.

Guffawable.

He was responsible for both goals conceded on Monday and he's cost us multiple points all season.

He's a 'kin dud.

Garbage. Blaming him for that 2nd goal is ridiculous. And you’ve been shown up multiple times in the past when you have blamed him.
Look where the goal is scored from. There;'s a Patterson sized gap where a defender should be....and he was blowing fir tugs 10 yards off the pace.

BOTH those Wolves goals were down to him. As was Chelsea's 1-0 win, as was Forest's 1-0 win.

Just some effort please lads ! Let’s see you dropping to your knees after 90 mins cos you’re that tired ! Please no smiles and shaking hands after a defeat !

They broke from their box, with pace (having made like 5 subs so fresh legs), down the centre and then our left side of the pitch. Yet you aren’t having a go at our midfielders or left sided players who were also all caught out and all ‘blowing fir tugs 10 yards off the pace’

For what I’m assuming is an older man sat in his chair at home watching the game, you don’t half spout some vitriol at the kid.
