Manchester City's Sham Trial

He’s supposed to be on £300k per week already so he looking at a tidy £140m minimum.

Mad thing is they can probably sell him in 3 years to Madrid or whatever and still make a break even if not make a profit on his original signing.
Wasn’t his 300k actually 600k when bonuses were considered?

It must be just me who hope City 'get away with it' and show what a farce this ffp is. It was only brought in by the likes of the rs, man u Arsenal and a few continental clubs to stop the likes of City taking a piece of their cake. Look how Villa and the barcodes have suffered because of it,couldnt buy players to improve thier squads even when they had CL football.

Wouldn’t suprise me. It’s an unbelievable amount of dough either way.
I know his signing was heralded as a bit of steal at £60m for the transfer or whatever, and then the actual contract value was speculated and it was eye watering, albeit didn’t think it was quite £600k/w

You can do these sort of things when you fast track and break financial rules over 10 years in order to become the most profitable club in world football.

Not bad for a club who were in the 3rd tier back in 1999
