Having said that, they'd have to pick their game up a bit. If they carry on at the same rate of points per game, they'd only get 27 or 28 points. If relegation was at stake, you can guarantee they'd make it.

Just to say the "clubs" and the "pl" are the same thing - the clubs create the rules and the league enforces them.

City have torn through this arrangement despite it being the will of the collective agreement within the competition.

It's worth repeating, City have no interest in existing competition structures, collective agreements or maintaining any sense of order within European or English club football.

Add to that the fact they have a history of braking financial rules and have been punished twice, appealed and let off being kicked out of European football for two seasons by UEFA, and still continued to brake the rules.
