He was just pointing out an unbiased view of it, no need for sarcasm. YOu have to look and ask why are the players so much more free away from home? Some teams park the bus at Goodison, sure and that's an issue we struggle with. But some do that at their place anyway.

Just think the Chelsea and City games are perfect examples of what Goodison used to be like and supportive. I remember we played Saints and Pompey at home, both times the crowd were roaring for them and we got late winners both games. Osman both times I think.

The players were up for those 2 games, actually closed the other team down and put some pressure on them. If the players had half arsedly let Chelsea and Man City play as they pleased in our half as they did against Arsenal, would you expect Goodison to still be rocking?

I remember us roaring the team on plenty of times last season and this when we were chasing equalisers or winners, to no avail.
