3-1 Mirallas hat trick.... (er...)

I think it'll be a scrappy and tight game with us sat back and KITAPO. Being away from home will help. McCarthy and Besic with 3 at the back again? Besic clearly wasn't match fit last time out. He played the full 90 against the Swiss on Wednesday and had a decent game in the 'Barry' role, even if he was done for pace a few times. He's lost a yard or two since injury but hopefully getting a full game at a high tempo in his legs and our match being played on a Sunday will have helped.

I'll go 0-1 with Rom doing what Rom does best - slotting when needs be.

International friendly break out of the way, and back to the league. Frustrating times somewhat, as we know this team can do much better than it has done.

The corresponding fixture at Goodison was the day the great man Howard Kendall died. Hopefully we can avenge that defeat, and leave OT with all three points.

Similarly to us, Man U are in a period of underachieving. Will Van Gaal turn them round and get them to CL? Will we get a move on and surge up the league?

Hopefully there'll be the welcome matter of an FA Cup win for us in there somewhere. Whatever your position on the manager, let's get behind the blues on Sunday.

I'm going for 3-1 Everton. What's your thoughts?
Worst preview you've ever done that chico mate.

I honestly have no idea as to a score prediction as it's impossible these days to predict just what Everton will turn up. Make no mistake, Utd are dross this season but we have an annoying habit of making poor teams appear world beaters.

I'll go for a 1-0 Utd win for no other reason than I'll enjoy being wrong.

Given that I genuinely reckon Bobbins Bobby has totally lost the dressing-room, I am not optimistic. Manure will win this.
Fortunately, it's only a league game - and we are a cup team

Anyway, this season's league results are an anomaly. We once got 72 points remember. I appreciate that total only got us 5th (by 7 points) - but 5th is the same as 15th...uncork the champagne!!!!

As a born and bred Salfordian with an almost pathological dislike (bordering on obsessional hatred) for ManU, I sincerely hope we tonk them sideways on Sunday... and then do them again in the semi-final.

COYB !! 0-2

Not confident.

We got battered in the previous fixture as Van Gaal figured out Martinez and set up his tactics perfectly.

More of the same I think.
