Can't see us getting anything.

They are pretty poor, but more organised than most teams in the league (it's why they're still in the top 4 hunt) while we're a bit of a mess.

I'm oddly confident about this. Or is that just merely hopeful? Or resigned yet upbeat? I just don't know these days.

Bit like EVERTON that really...

Nah, we'll go with the first I think, though I'm not sure why. I'd be happy with the draw TBH but they're not quite what they were are they, the UNITED, so all three points'd be delicious and go quite some way to setting us up for the difficult month ahead, a month that has the potential to be an absolute joy... or abarrrrr a level 11 nightmare. The in-between being a bit 'meh' and loaded with uncertainty...

What I don't want - as none of us do, obv - is a repeat of the ARSE game. Imagine, an early concession then a complete lie down. Awful stuff indeed. (and the MARTINEZ thread will be thing of spice & vitriol on the back of that...)

My odd logic being if the BIG BOY wants off as is reported then surely he'll be doing his level best in batting his eyelids to the rest of EUROPE...hope he's feelin' flirty enough to score twice tomorrow at least.

if there's a team in this league against which Man U can score more than a goal then it's us.

but we can still win this, not that it's gonna matter but still

2-3 Everton

Looking forward to seeing the Blues back in action once more, it seems like a long time since we were last on the pitch.

Should be a good game and I'm hoping for a good display, 2-1 would be perfect with Lukaku netting twice.

Tomorrow, United are renaming the South Stand as the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand. I hope Blues give the man the respect and recognition he deserves (I'm sure we will). I've had the pleasure of meeting him on several occasions and he's the type of person whose company you never want to leave. Incredibly humble and modest, an absolute gentleman, full of stories when in the mood, knows his football inside out, and of course was a great footballer.

He definitely will. I was at the game V UTD days after Alan Ball passed away, he took some flowers on to the pitch prior to the game and all 4 sides of the ground were on their feet applauding him on and off. It was an emotional experience seeing our brilliant fans being brilliant whilst realising why we were stood on our feet was quite a sad and truth be told shocking moment in our history, for him to pass so young.

He deserves whatever he gets from UTD.

I can see this one going either way. Two teams who can't or won't defend. If I was a Utd fan I would be fairly confident of a win. As an Everton fan I hope for the best.
