He's had two in his entire Everton career. So unless you only started supporting us this season, there's nothing "inevitable" about such an event.

Why on earth, after 10 other players have played poorly for the entire game, would you look to slate the one player who's only been on the pitch for twelve minutes?

the whole side collapsed after the goal. GarBar was out and so Kev became most likely to succeed in that dept. I blame Howard.

ME watched the game????

But for coleman we never would have conceded...

Jags could have got two himself and with a bit of luck we could have had more....

AWAY at a team which cost £250mil+ to put together....how on earth can people blame martinez for losing this game is insane...

if we lost to barca 1-0 people would blame martinez.
It's not just the result. It's also the performance week in and week out that is so poor. The team doesn't look interested. We played a crap United side. I don't care how much they cost.

Thought we had the better chances in a dire dire game of football.
Couldn't take them though, which is what matters.
What was Coleman doing for their goal???
Can't really blame Martinez for the goal with him doing that or rather "not" doing that, on the evidence of that performance he'll be gone at the end of the season and rightly so.

Load of rubbish

That was such a disjointed performance. Someone posted earlier some of the players seem to be trying to get him sacked. It honestly wouldn't suprise me if that was the case.

The lack of width, the lack of pressing, the strange positions some of the players took up. Lennon didn't look like he had any idea what his role was. I mean he'd be crap in the hole anyway because he's just a hard working pace merchant who is best suited to playing right wing. Yet our manager decides he should play no 10?

Also the wingers swapping about at will and at times leaving one full back with noone in front of him.

I'm not going to criticise subs or game management. The above is enough for me.

Needs to go.
Rubbish mate - we dominated and apart from one lapse from coleman would have got a point. Add that to what was a complete sitter from jagielka. By all means judge him but not for today against a Utd team that had one shot on target.

The 90 minutes shown me Lukaku can't play target man. His control, lay off and distribution is suspect. So why are we playing so?
