What's funny is, after the transfer window, we were all panicking about injuries at centre back because we only had three players for that position.

Meanwhile, it felt like we maybe had too many players in midfield. And here we are, 17 games in, with just Tom Davies left standing. So Everton.

Big Duncan have worked with these players on a daily basis. He knows their capability more than a nobody poster, probably can't kick a ball to save his life, on a football forum.

It's a tough match for anyone. Any manager in the world would find that one tough. So calls for his head because of a old Trafford result would be very fickle. He has 3 home matches in a row coming up. It would be much fairer to judge him after those 3.

Meh, this is a free hit for Ferguson with that side and the opposition in form.

If we get something from the game, that's a big plus, but I'm actually fine with this being in the "expected losses" column today.

I don't think anyone can realistically expect anything else, I can't ever remember a time we only had one fit central midfielder. Hideously unlucky.
