Unfortunately I just feel like they've already got Moyes ready and just don't want to announce him before the United game given his history there. Shameful by the board if the bring him in. It will be the lowest point for us since the glory days of the 80s.

I really don’t know what team he’s going to play. Nobody deserves to be dropped, not everyone is fit, none of our strikers can play lone striker but we havnt the CM options to play as a 4 man midfield. If he can get a result it will be impressive. I class a point as a decent result btw

If there are no injuries from the previous game it'll be same xi. Baines over Digne if he's out.

The glory days were a low point?

Well, well, well, what a day.

Next up for *insert managers name here* super blue army, its the boys in red from Manchester, an up and down season so far, but Old Trafford is never an easy place to visit.

A much-improved performance from the Duncan Globetrotters and we wait and see who will be wearing the suit/tracksuit/armband/sweatband in the dugout for this 1.

Goats 11 to start :

Picks
Sidney - Keane - Holgate - Luca
Davies - Delph
Rico - Iwobi - Bernie
DCL
I could live with that team.
But the best part is the fools havent rushed in, towing Moist behind them
like you say its never too easy at OT.
But a December fixture list that look a zero point total disaster, now looks tough, ( but all games are tough in the Prem) but do-able, given last Saturday
We've sent worse teams there to play a better team than they have now and put up a good show...but lost.
Losing won't be the end of the world, providing the basics are not missing, like they have been all season.

4-4-2 away at old Trafford ? Im not against it as I believe if we play that way or try to most weeks then we will get enough points to get into mid table . Ferguson playing 4-4-2 can be perceived as brave, positive etc but also show his limitations or imagination depending on your point of view. I don’t expect anything from there and a positive , attacking team selection with scoring goals as the main focal point of the system is fine by me. They’re not the team they used to be and a positive high tempo approach could hopefully work.

I would have thought giving him the gig ahead of United would have been the thing to do, if in fact he was coming (which I think is highly unlikely).

He would have sommat to prove and he would have the players right up for it.

With OT being a big pitch we should keep at least one player pushed out wide at all times, maintain pressure on their defence from the front man and keep our defensive line from venturing too far up the pitch (don't want to get exposed to a counter). Pretty much need more of the same from last week with our wide men helping out the full backs as much as possible. Our counter attacking with the front 3 of Theo DCL and Rico worked really effectively last week, we just need to make sure we take our chances.

4-3-3
Pickford
Sidibe-Keane-Holgate-Digne
Schneiderlin
Sigurdsson-Iwobi
Walcott-DCL-Richarlison
