As soon as fernandez received the ball I knew exactly where it was going. We controlled the game until they scored the first but since then its been atrocious. Truly atrocious.

Any decent side has sussed us out how we play. We don’t have the quality to play through the press. We have nothing down our right hand side. All in all it’s typical of many of our home performances this season.

Get it down field quickly. Sometimes you just have to do that. Launch it long and try and get a foothold in the game that way.

King on Davies off... Time for Carlo to full championship manager mode now.. 4.3.3, gung ho, hard tackling, closing down and attack with pace. Usually works for me.

Why Davies off? He’s been better than Doucoure, Gomes and James easily

Why? Because we as fans invest alot of money and emotion in to this club only to be let down continuously with lack of effort and desire.... They bottled this when they turned up in the coach.

Not closing down comes down to desire and determination to win the ball, these players clearly dont care!

Ancelotti should have just shown these players the United v Sheffield United game tape and said "just do that for an hour: all get behind the ball and close them down in the last third. Then we see what we can do last 30 minutes".

He hasn't learned from the two other games v United. This team cant go toe to toe with them.

Agree with this, they are clearly better than us and we havnt treated the game like that, hence why were behind and the second half.wont.be.any different unless something changes.

I'd do that second half, try and keep it 2-0.see if any happens in last 20 minutes, if not try and take some.confidence from shutting them.out second half

Don’t understand the shouts about Gomes being too negative. He’s the one who has at least been looking for the ball over the top to the forwards, especially early on. Think there’s a bit of bias going on there, as he was one of our best in that half.

Ah you're one of them, just because we have less of the ball doesn't mean we aren't comfortable. Obviously this game is not a good example. But we don't have the team to go and outplay better teams. That's how you get battered.
