Straight from kick off the ball was hoofed. Just shows the mentality of this football club after all these years.

I won't blame the players, I blame the mindset that has been instilled. They are scared to be caught out hence no midfield players tried to get close to the box to support attack. They have been instructed to defend deep and not close down, they have been instructed to make 2 blocks of 4. No other team would go to Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool or Spurs and play such Anti Football as if they have 0 self belief. Everton does it EVERY year, resulting in SAME criticism.

Give these same players to Brendan Rogers or Pochettino and see how they lift the confidence.

My generation and any future generation apart from Martinez' 13/14 season has seen 20 years of negative football, with same old "We are not good enough" mentaility.
