The disappointing thing about this half is, two quick strike goals aside, we didn't actually give it a go in terms of our outlook. United have controlled the game completely.

Tonight, has been a lack of quality. Look at our midfield....

The same problems have been present as the Leeds, WHU, Newcastle home games, a real lack of ball retention and quality. Nothing to do with bottle. If they lacked any bottle we'd have been 4 down instead abck to 2-2 6 mins into second half.

Barring a keeper losing his footing, likelyhood is we'd be level.

You can rank every team on quality and conclude that no team should beat anyone more superior, but football doesn’t work like that.

Utd got beat at Old Trafford by Sheffield the other week, so there is no real reason we cannot compete to win.

However, the first half display was spineless, and really sums up why we haven’t been able to win here for 18 years.

Like it or not, bottle plays a part - it’s not the only reason for our abysmal record, but there is an inferiority complex at play for sure.
