Yep. In the first half everything that was good had him in the middle of it all. When you look at him it’s like his head hasn’t been in it, as though he’s been pushed aside with James coming in, but tonight he just took control and Davies did similar. It was great to see both of them play that way.....

He just looks like he's settled down Pete and he's starting to see the game a step quicker than others ( like Rodriguez does apart from his first half display lol )

I sincerely hope do mate, he's an asset when he's confident and on it and the last two games, games where you'd expect him to have less time, he's made more time for himself

he does seem on the brink of playing his best footie since he joined and goodness knows I’m his biggest critic... definitely contributing more up and down the pitch... but has to have cover behind him and Doucoure does seem to give him license. Allan and Doucoure behind him could bring out his best.

Mad that we have had some crazy games against Utd over the last 15 years or so. Remember the 4-4 game Pienaar with late equaliser and the home 3-3 game Arteta winner.

MOTM for me was Doucoure. I know he gave the ball away the eventually led to the first goal but he was still all over the pitch trying to make things happen. He scored and he had an great assist. Davies (hold my hand up) played well but I still will not be able to trust him until he can play like that as a norm. Gomes in looking back to form...looking strong on the ball and actually looks up to pace with the game now. James was well manacled by United but took his goal sweetly.

A few good performances mixed with quite a few below par performances. Disappointed with Keane but really that is his first mare in a long time

Big Doucs never hides away, makes up for lack of quality with hardwork and honesty every week. Great asset to have.
