Those judging Simms on his start v The RS need to wind it in a bit.

1 - The goal v Chelsea would have done him the world of good for confidence at this level & 2 Everton are a much different animal than back then.

Hopefully he takes his chance... I was calling for Simms over Maupay all the time, given a run of games I think he will be fill a temporary void and who knows after that.

It's not a judgement on Simms, again just highlighting a coincidence.

I hope we play to his strengths and play balls for him to run onto rather than hold up play

Hopefully Simms and Iwobi plays well and keeps the shirt for the next 2 making it harder for Doucoure to get back in, competition is what drives players to be better.

I like what Dyche is doing, play well and keep your shirt becuase if not there is plenty of players that do want it with a point to prove.
