With our lack of away wins the pressure just ramps up every home game.

We have very little margin for error because we haven't been able to pick up that unexpected away win to ease the pressure.

Its going to the final day, I'm almost sure of it.

No such thing as free hits at this stage. It was an extremely tough game but we weren't competitive today and threw away an opportunity

It`s exactly the same for every team around us too, don`t forget that.

The West Ham fans want Moyes out and are on the verge of mutinity.
Leicester are about to appoint Ted Lasso.
Southampton have spent a fortune and only Ward Prowse can score.
Bournemouth are the same as, two steps forward, one step backwards.
Palace are by no means out it.
Leeds are in just as much trouble as us.

Half hoped for a point today so not entirely surprised at the result.
Had the Fulham game next week as our chance to get to the 30 point mark as another critical game for us. Just had the most casual glance at fixtures next weekend for the relegation candidates and some difficult games for them.
Three points from a home game will be massive.

Next run of games are going to be crucial. We need 10 points from 8 games but that means we need home wins.

How we react to this loss and poor performance will determine our fate

Just got done. That foul on Gray by Slabhead anywhere else on the pitch is a foul so it's 100% a pen. If Mctominay wears blue he's off for kicking a man that's on his knees.
Ref was true to form.
Did we deserve anything? Not really but to be handicapped further by that stain of a ref is infuriating
All day this mate - I don’t mind getting beat by better teams but the inconsistency and nonsense from the refs and var is an absolute joke.

Nothing more than a rigged game now, they don’t even try to hide it.

Oliver is one of the worst we have - shocking.

Manchester United played a better game overall, with stronger tactics, better possession, and more effective scoring opportunities. Additionally, individual performances by Manchester United players may have contributed to the win, such as outstanding performances by forwards, midfielders or defenders.

It's also possible that Everton struggled to capitalize on their own opportunities, with poor finishing, lack of creativity or ineffective defending, leading to Manchester United taking advantage of the gaps and scoring goals.

Overall, there could be multiple factors that contributed to Everton's loss to Manchester United.

Is this the one sided MoM ever?!

I demand statistical analysis

Maybe but there have been many instances of one-sided man of the match votes in various sports. One such example is from the 2019 Cricket World Cup, where England's Ben Stokes was named man of the match in the final against New Zealand. Stokes played a vital role in England's victory, scoring an unbeaten 84 runs in the regular match and then batting in the super over to help England win the World Cup for the first time. He received an overwhelming majority of the votes for man of the match, with no other player coming close to his contribution to the team's success.

Another example is from the 2020 NBA Finals, where LeBron James was named man of the match in Game 6, leading the Los Angeles Lakers to their first NBA championship in a decade. James scored 28 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists, becoming the first player in NBA history to win Finals MVP with three different teams. He received all but one vote for man of the match, with the other vote going to his teammate, Anthony Davis.

Overall, one-sided man of the match votes occur when a single player puts in a standout performance, making it impossible for other players to be considered for the award.
