Scholes is out cause of his red card in the cup game.
Rooney returns, probably willing to show up - he didn't get to play the goodison game and is probably raring to go after his swearing ban to make up for himself. I'm expecting berbatov and rooney up top, but our main worry should be the wingers. Nani and Valencia might both play, and we'll have to rely on a great showing from Neville, Hibbo, Baines and Heitinga to shut them down.

Osman tends to do really well against United though, and if he stays in the same brilliant form he's had all season, we might have a real chance. Beckford's knack of scoring rather important goals is also something to benefit us, but he'll have a hard time against Vidic, i reckon. We ought to rely on our players in the hole, think goals from Billy rockets. Their central midfield is literally shoite, i'm hoping we'll show Carrick and Gibson how it's done.

Here's my lineup:

Howard
Hibbo Jags Distin Baines
Neville Heitinga
Osman Billy ????
Beckford

Big question is the last midfield position there. I doubt Gueye will get time to play against united, though he shows class that might take too much from him. Aiming for Coleman to step in there and show Wes Brown or whatever Da Silva who's boss.

Staying surprisingly optimistic for this one. We're due a win, shoite are due a loss or draw for us to pip sixth place. If we perform well here, we can start getting serious about europe for real.

Over the years they've seemed to have success against us when we are riding a hot streak. Now that Arse drew and C-league matches coming up I think United will rest some players.

I would definitely start Rodwell if he is healthy. He thrives against clubs that play open footie.

Hibbo and Neville have been shutting down the right side so I think we'll be able to shut down Nani and/or Park. If they beat us it will be because we didn't stop him on the left side. Billy is going to have to step his defensive game up or at least get a goal on saturday.

Given that he's been pretty much ****e against us I hope Sir Alex keeps Rooney is in the lineup.

Everton 2-1.

As said i would take and be happy with a draw right now,its going to take one hell off an effort to get anything considering man utd have not lost at home for 1 year [v Chelsea] and have won every game in all comps at OT since apart from 3 draws v Rangers/West Brom/Valencia

United are pretty much at full strength tonight. Only really Ferdinand and Berbatov missing. You'd imagine that it would be even more likely then that Fergie will field a weakened side against us at the weekend, as he won't want his players to have already had two games in seven days before the Champions League semi.

After the draw last night and an abject preformance from them ,they´ll be up for it after Sir Fungus the fergieman put his size 10´s up thier jacksys. If the Arsenal win tonight they will not rest anyone ,but to be honest the pressure is all on them to preform at home. If we play as well as we can do we could well take a point Saterday.

well guys
has anyone the latest with our injuries ansd who might be available for saturday?..looking forward to watching the game..hoping we give them a good game.we have nothing to loose..have utd picked up any injuries
