I've said it a thousand times it feels but remember when we had 3 easy games to play (like managerless and mitrovic-less Fulham, etc.) before the final 2 of the season, and we just needed 1 win realistically?

We lost all of them, because Doucoure got injured and he started experimenting. Had to hope others lose and we went down to a miracle goal that Doucoure will not score again instead.

Same thing is happening here - instead of winning our games we're back to hoping we barely scrape a few draws and no one else wins any other game. It'll probably happen as some of those are dreadful but they're likely to pick a point or 3 off us along the way as we play them too I believe.

If we'd won 3 games since December we'd be laughing and confident, even if deduction wasn't reduced. But we can't have a go, or prepare to win a game, it's damage mitigation time, all the time.
