Scary to think how often he had previously done it.

As for the culture in the club, they wheel out the red carpet for Giggs and that tells you everything you need to know.

Its scary tho, we found out later "things" had been going on for a long time, we didnt have a clue, came across as a "decent" lad and it was a battle to extract her from the whole thing, took a few tries............

But as you say, its not always wise, if we found him that 2nd time I am convinced I would be in the middle of a fairly long stretch.

Very happy to hear she is in a good place and that you avoided being in a bad one.

Unfortunately think a lot of people still believe that they know the “sort” and whilst there can be obvious red flags sometimes there aren’t. And when there aren’t it can be even harder for the abused to get out as they don’t think they will be believed or there are the rationalizations “he only does it when he is drunk and is so apologetic afterwards and I started the row so it is my fault too” etc.

Horrid situation for anyone to be in, both victim and friends/family figuring out how to help them.

Once we learnt the truth, the desire to find him and chop him up was something I fought a long time.

What about the super injunctions Giggs and Ferdinand had.

Giggs extra marital affairs/sister in law and Rio Ferdinand had TEN women he was seeing behind his wife's back and one on his stag night , i recall Gary Flitcroft at Blackburn had a super injunction that the judge finally tossed out, papers were chomping at the bit to get that story printed for years in the 00's, Flitcroft was taking an injunction every few months when he got word a sunday paper was going to front page his affairs, i remember he gave evidence at the Levinson inquiry about media intrusion years later.

Cheshire just comes across as one seedy place to live, it seems as debauched as Hollywood. lol
