It's not even that much money for Bolasie. Last season he would have been around 15m. It's not his fault prices are inflated.

I like Bolasie. I do worry he suits a certain type of game but he's a good option to have.

Think this may be an indication that we think we can get Bony for 20 and will take that rather than Gabbiadini for 25. Could be due to the fact that the extra 5M is needed elsewhere (either to improve on the Kone bid or to finalize Brahimi - though i still think Brahimi is an odd deal....)
 
Id take Bony in a heartbeat, but if we look at the strikers we've been linked with, I doubt he's the kind of striker we are after.
 

What's worrying is we've been told we have all this money, yet with 2 days to go we're still not able to bring in another striker.

Doesn't seem like this transfer window has gone to plan so far - hope something changes.

But its not the money, its because a striker is a hard player to buy, clubs don't let them go, or the player can pick and choose where he goes because of the demand.

Just goes to show how stupid some of the rubbish wrote in the Lukaku thread was, people saying we should sell him and get a replacement, because finding a striker is that easy.
 
Can't see us going for Bony or him coming here . If he comes here he'll be swapping citehs bench for ours. He's too similar to Lukaku. We need someone who complements and can provide an alternative to Lukaku . For me it ain't Bony.

I think they were trying to swap him for Kalanic as that's who they want from Fiorentina , but they don't want him. lol
