His last game was Newcastle at home wasn't it? And he set up two goals?

He's amazing and I'm in love with him. But his attitude and Arteta's emergence in the center this season makes me think our scant resources would be better invested elsewhere.

Spot on.

can some one close this thred!!! i would not piss on manuel fernandez if he was on fire in my front room and everton were beating the rs 5-0 on the telly the mans a footballing prostitute no loyalty any one whos the highest bidder he had his chance and turned us down so f,,k him :@

This was covered in "Chat Box RAW Uncut Pay Per View" on the weekend.

The conclusions were:

1 - He's was massively underwhelming overall and not worthy of spunking loads of money on him.

2 - He was a show pony, who seduced unknowledge posters (they will identify themselves in due course) with step overs but not much else.

3 - He would go missing when the going got tough, boss player to have when you're 2-0 up at home though.

4 - He could have signed for us but did the ultimate snide and went back on his word, flew to Spain, turned his mobile off and signed for Valencia.

5 - We have far better, save your tedious worshipping for someone who plays for the shirt and has genuine quality: ie: Arteta.

6 - Pienaar is twice as effective at a fraction of the price.

7 - Did you see him against Newcastle" argument is void as he was playing a [Poor language removed] team, on the last game of the season in a nothing game. He had plenty of chances to prove his mettle through two loan periods and failed to do so.

8 - He feigned injury to get subbed against City.

9 - He is, without doubt, a massive massive shithouse and we dont need him.

Hope that clears it up x
