Last week the media were talking about title contenders, many blues moaned becuase Everton didnt get mentioned once, some even skipped past us reading out the table.
We need to be relevant again in the modern game, only way to do that is to be successful again and win something

or we could just kick more of their players in the derby, we get mentioned in every game that way

Well for me top 4 would be a much bigger prize. We will certainly be relevant if we qualified next season. Could help us attract some more top top players and keep us competing for the top 4 and the better players you get the more chance you will have to win silverware.

Winning an fa cup and finishing 9th, while it’s great to win something, it wouldn’t kick us in, we’d be seen as a mid table side that got lucky.

Agree mate and I'm sure The Mosh would too. It would make a massive difference to our spend next summer

But coming 4th wont kick us in, we did that once and ended up in the pointless Europa League right away. See dont get me wrong, it would be good, but isnt as important as winning a cup, besides we are 360 minutes from winning the cup, the league we have a long way to go and just as much competition, if not more for it.

Anyway why are we even the Monday game, surly there are some rubbish teams who are out of the cup they can give that slot too? Like Liverpool, in fact Aston Villa v Arsenal is the Saturday game, both out, give them that slot and leave us on Saturday

Sky could maybe swap our game with utd on the Monday with the Liverpool v man City match on the Sunday
City are also still in the cup, so doubtful.

We'll play Monday/Thursday/Sunday

It suits us, Utd and Spurs and doesn't have a big negative impact on anybody else.

(currently only one game scheduled for the Sunday after the Cup tie, so easily done.)

How can you compare now to 2005. Laughable.

When we got their then. We still had no ambition kenwright running the club. Look at the dross we bought that summer.

Do you really think if we got a champions league place Ancelotti/moshiri would go and buy spurs’s 2nd choice Right winger IE Simon Davies/ Lamella. Or a Man Utd utility player IE Neville/Phil Jones. Or some piss pot from Holland.

We wanted and should have bought that summer Bellamy and Scott Parker. But the board had no Town halls.

This.

Fully expect

Monday/Thursday/Sunday.

Which will be very handy, as it will give Spurs 48 hours more to prepare
