If I’m honest I think that was Moshiri more than anyone. We were in for him when he went to Napoli which was very much pre Brands

Arnt the club about to publish a massive loss of 100+ mil as some on here would have you believe.

Seeing as we were about to spend big last days of the window on Zouma & Zaha ( ye i know Iwobi ) but he was much less than what Zaha would cost.

Not sure what to believe tbh.

He is also unable to sign players for the under 23 squad. That was meant to be one of his particular areas of expertise.
The situation goes far further back than Brands appointment.

Thats up by the summer, so hopefully home work has been done in earnest.

Iwobi looks very bad, I wont hide from that fact
Mina is a bit up and down, but I think hes very decent
Think Kean has loads and loads of potential, whether we see it translate to actual talent is up in the air, but im very hopeful
Digne, Gomes and Rico are great players, Bernie is a little diamond, but we defo still need to see more product
Gmblammos leg fell off and we knew what we were getting with Delph, sadly hes been more injured than we thought

As well as Brands being "new" we have also made a lot of changes to the scouting system, things havent been perfect, but I think my point stands regarding our best players.

I don’t get the iwobi signing? Seems like a panic buy? His 2nd touch is either a tackle or a throw in to the opposition, his other signings will come good if haven’t already
