Brands left FF with Silva still manager...but leaving Kenwright and Moshiri still in there, and Silva was sacked hours later. (Brands had earlier made a statement in an interview for stability and to carry on as we were).

Even before that happened Moshiri had already contacted Ancelotti and his agent.

Brands is just an office boy. Do you expect him to buck the trend of all hirings at the top at Everton and to actually be in control?

Is Barett Baxendale in control of the commercial side
? Is Chong in control of the stadium?

Shes CEO why would she be in charge of the commercial businees?

Sasha Ryantsev...

So because Brands left FF before the announcement was made you think the decision was taken against his wishes? There's conjecture and then there's that.
He demanded stability days before it happened.

WTF can be said to convince you Brands had no part in Silva's sacking?

This was the carpetbagger's decision...like every other decision at Everton.

'Sasha' is in charge of pouring the Vodka.

There is no decision of note taken at that club without the carpetbagger's say so.

He pulled the plug on Silva, im not disputing that, but Brands was defo involved with Carlo.

Im not gonna go back and forth, thats my view and it wont change.

Mosh has very little to do with day to day business at Everton, but as major shareholder he will certainly have input in anything major.

But are you suggesting Brands wanted to keep Silva? Because let's face it, any public announcement for support/stability in the past at any club is also called a death knell.

She's a CEO, she oversees the officers of the club.

'sake.

Do you not understand how boardrooms / Directors / CEOs and departments operate Dave?

Its ok, just ask instead of getting caught out and attempting to disguise your error.

...after Ancelotti was chosen as Silva's successor.

Moshiri's wallet got Ancelotti here, not jug head's meagre connections book.

Yes. It's what he said days before.

While it'd be best to get deals done early, there is an order to the tfr market. I read a book about hellas verona years ago and they had a string of players sign for them who then went on to be top Internationals. He said for them to compete in the tfr market, they have to leave deals late, because they can't compete with the bigger clubs. So they identify a target, if they move early then the player and selling club will notify other potential suitors as they will want a bigger move, and more often than not Verona wouldn't get their man. So instead they waited til late in the window when there wasn't time for sellers/players to try and negotiate better, and then they'd ensure they got their man. Providing no one else had already bought them of course.

That's why the transfer market usually starts with Real Madrid doing their business, and then it filters down until it's our turn.

That's all well and good and makes some sense. But we need to be ready for the beginning of the season. We haven't had a good preseason and early signings in ages and it shows in our normal poor starts.

If we are going to employ a DOF then we need him to be very organised in his approach and not leave things to chance on the final day. Let's see what happens this summer.
