Plan B for Zaha was the Arsenal geezer and this forum nearly went into melt down. If Arsenal had accepted the price then plan b would have been in effect. They didn't and we seemingly haven't increased upon the decent offer. Common sense prevails in certain instances.

So plan B was to lash half the amount at an inferior player less than a day before the end of the window? That's not a plan B, that's a lack of a plan B.

Kept Gomes, signed 2 players to replace Gana, added quality competition for Coleman, and the striker we ALL wanted.

Would have liked a Centre back, yes. But Mina looks fit, and Gibson looks promising.

It's 100% weaker. If we get one injury at centre back or wing we have a completely inadequate replacement.

The manager has been left potentially high and dry. We better hope we are so lucky with knocks and injuries because we have no depth to rotate.

Shocking how he's not been able to even loan any of our gang of losers out. How we're still stuck with Mirallas, Bolasie, Besic, Niasse, Martina and Tosun is beyond me. Yes I know European window is still open, but I'm sure lots of them would have preferred to stay in England.
